Visit to the Stilt Temple (Kiyomizu dera jo-), stroll on the most famous shopping street in Kyoto, visit the Shogun Palace (Nijo-jo-), morning walk to the shrine of the 1000 red gates, drive to Arashiyama with a visit to the monkey park, rickshaw ride through the bamboo forest, visit the Kinkakuji jo- (Golden Pavilion) and the famous Kyo-to Gosho (Imperial Palace).
Nara
Travel by regional train to Nara, visit the To Daiji temple complex, return trip by regional train to Kyoto.

Visit to “The Dome”, Hiroshima Castle and the Peace Memorial Museum.

Visit the Itsukushima shrine, cable car ride to the Misen Yama overlooking the wide bay and a variety of islands to end the day with a relaxing visit to the onsen (hot bath at the ryokan).

Visit to Osaka Castle, city walk, free afternoon.

Ishigaki
Fresh fruits on “the terrace”, visit of the viewing platform with a view over the island and the reef in front, cooling off in the sea, drive to the lighthouse in Hirakubozaki enjoying the sunset with a view towards Taiwan (the closest island in the East China Sea).

Visit the Ibaruma Sabichi cave, island tour with stop at Kabira Bay – Japan’s pearl paradise and most famous bay.
Ishigaki jima is famous for its first-class beef, which you have to taste in the evening.
Day trip out to sea: snorkeling & fishing are on the program! For dinner the self-caught fish will be served, full commitment is required!

In the morning a cozy end at the house beach, followed by fresh fruits on “the terrace”.
Tokyo
Walk through Ginza, Tokyo’s world-famous shopping district, where you can shop and stroll.

Sightseeing tour: Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine including the empress’s tea house, trip to the Tokyo Tower with a panoramic view, city walk, and much more.

Hakone
Cable car ride to the volcano Hakone with Onsentamago – tasting. From the summit of the Hakone you can catch a unique and extraordinary view of Mount Fuji. Drive to Lake Ashino and visit the Jinja & Kuzuryu shrine complex, relax in the private and luxurious onsen on your own terrace.

Enoshima, Kamakura & Yokohama
Exploration of the delightful island of Enoshima, including shrines and the old town. Visit to the over 750 year old Daibutsu including the temple complex in Kamakura. Final stop in Yokohama with the largest Chinatown in Asia and a tour of the port, in which the two Austrian Navy ships were at anchor in 1869. Dinner in Yokohama with a cozy ending. Transfer to Tokyo airport.

Prices per person:
Double room: from 8,390 € (with 6 to 8 participants)
Single room: from 9,190 € (with 6 to 8 participants)
With only 5 participants the price increases by € 600,- per person, with only 4 participants the price increases by € 900,- per person.
All prices are approximate, based on summer 2022, the final price might vary due to flexible flight rates.

The fine print
This special trip is booked and on-site supported by Imperial Tours & Events.
All services as described are included (with the exception of any activities described as an additional option).
Flights from Vienna in economy class. If you want a different booking class and / or a different home airport, we will be happy to take this into account.
Subject to price and program changes.
Included services that are not consumed, expire and can not be consumed at a later date. A refund is not possible (even partially).
The general travel conditions in the currently applicable version of August 1, 2018 apply.
Deviating from this, the following terms of payment and cancellation apply to this special trip:
Deposit: 30% of the travel price when booking
Final payment: by 15 February 2023 at the latest
Cancellation charges:
(replace p.t. A 7.1.c.1. of the general travel conditions)
Until December 31st, 2022: 30% of the travel price
From January 1st, 2023 to January 31th, 2022: 60% of the travel price
From February 1st, 2023 to March 1st, 2023: 80% of the travel price
From March 2nd, 2023: 100% of the travel price
*Flight tickets after issue 100%.
In the event of cancellation expenses already incurred by Imperial Tours & Events which are verifiably non-refundable (e.g. visa procurement, non-refundable deposits for hotels and other services, non-refundable tickets, etc.) must be paid in full by the customer.
We reserve the right to cancel the trip in case of insufficient number of participants. This special trip is therefore only available until December 31st, 2021.
Small group supplement (for 4 or 5 people): € 900 or € 600,- per person.
The small group supplement is automatically applied if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Completing a travel and cancellation insurance is recommended.
Changes subject to availability, weather, unforeseen circumstances.
A passport that is valid for the duration of the stay is required for entry (visa requirement: normally no).
